Summary

Reposit and Marks & Spencer have co-developed to pilot a prefill system to offer own homecare brand products to the Marks & Spencer (M&S) shopper offering customers a fully reusable, sustainable homecare products range in smart trackable waste free packaging. The pilot focuses on 8 homecare products, including home cleaning sprays, laundry detergents, fabric conditioners and washing up liquids available to refill in Reposit's smart aluminium bottles. The pilot offers consumers an accessible and convenient alternative to single-use packaging and has revealed that there has been a significant plastic saving which has encouraged M&S to continue to expand the pilot in additional stores and to increase the product range to include hot drinks.

Re wants to bring active collaboration for all stakeholders throughout the supply chain of reuse and create systemic change that accelerates the pace of a reuse model for consumer products & beyond. Why should I get involved? Many organisations want to create alternatives to single use disposable products & packages, creating less waste & reducing oevrall environmental impact. Join us to collaborate in building the circular economy through transforming consumption to live in a waste-free world.
