About

The World Economic Forum aims to accelerate reuse solutions via the Global Plastic Action Partnership (GPAP), the Forum’s multistakeholder platform for translating plastic pollution commitments into concrete action. GPAP focuses on reuse at both the national and global level. At the national level, GPAP has developed a reuse landscape analysis tool to help local stakeholders lay the ground for activating programmes, communities, and projects to accelerate reuse in a target city or country. At the global level, GPAP is collaborating with the UN Environment Programme and the World Wildlife Fund to develop the Reuse Portal. Consumers Beyond Waste is another key multistakeholder initiative facilitated by the Forum. It brings together key stakeholders to help identify, guide and enable the testing and scaling of reuse and durability-based solutions..
